If the Class of '87 wants to have an event similar to that of 1997 then planning needs to commence as soon as possible. With the upcoming reunion it's more important than ever to locate missing classmates. Please review the following lists of names to see if you know how to contact any of these classmates. I will be updating the list as people are located or as old addresses are discovered, so please review the address book periodically to check for changes. While vacationing in Monterey, CA on July 7th Sheila (Sewell) Alesi and her boyfriend Charlie became engaged. Charlie proposed at 7PM on the beautiful Monterey coast. Now that's what I call a triple 7!

Chris Fisher is in his second year of Medical School at Loma Linda University School of Medicine. Prior to starting medical school, Chris worked as an RN at Loma Linda University Medical Center Emergency Department. Chris, who is an INFP on the Keirsey Temperament Sorter Profile (I know at least one other Alumnus who will appreciate this information) joined America Mensa Association about 2 years ago. Erin Kuhn-Brown Trial

Erin is back in prison after having spent some time at a mental health care facility. Her trial is now tentatively set for January 28, 2002. Becki (Nelson) Watters who has been in frequent contact with Erin reports that Erin seems to be in good spirit. Erin's address is listed on the address book and she does appreciate letters of encouragement. Becki also indicates that the Nevada ABC Bookstore knows the procedures for mailing books to Erin for anyone interested in sending Erin positive reading material to keep her occupied.

Becki Watters started working at a new assisted living facility near her home in Gunninson, Colorado. She says "the residents are treasures, one and all! And such an opportunity for ministry." Becki's daughter Keilah is staring 6th grade through Homestudy International, and Becki's son, Mychael (almost 13) just got baptized in August.

Wendy (Pinner) and Shaun Bertoli along with little Austin (almost 3) vacationed in Lake Tahoe for a week at the end of August. Wendy will start her final quarter the end of this month; she'll graduate with her B.A. in Elementary Education with a concentration in Human Development this December.

Tamara (Cowin) Willis is going to night school. Tamara hopes to get into the Radiography Program next year so she's trying to get as many classes out of the way in the meantime. Tamara is also anxiously awaiting her divorce which hopefully becomes final in October. Tamara would love to hear from you. Currently she's living with her parents and can be reached at:

Melinda (Beldin) Muir has been keeping busy providing home day care on a part time basis and working with the State Assembly in writing a new bill to change some laws regarding day care. This in addition to caring for her own two children.

Aaron Smith and wife Krista celebrated their eighth wedding anniversary on August 7th. The Smiths have offered to be tour guides for anyone visiting the Bay Area.

Travel Log

Kevin Chong traveled to Hungary for a few weeks in March on a work project.

Lana Quezada visited Paris, Spain, Oaxaca, An Miguel de Allende and Orlando over the last year or so.

Heather Hessel did a summer internship in Washington D.C. and then spent some time at the family cabin in Minnesota followed by a visit to the Black Hills in South Dakota.

Julie (Miller) Casey tagged along on her husband's business trip to Orlando in April.

Phillip Chism is living in Washington with his wife and two children, Anthony (6) and Kaitlyn (4). Phil has an AA in Radiologic Technology and does MRI's, CT's and X-Ray's at a local hospital. Phil can be reached at:
