Reunion
Information
Alumni Day has been
canceled!
The SPA Alumni
Association will host Alumni Day on Saturday, April 20th at the SPA
campus. The Alumni Association is still working out the details with the
current school owners. They do plan to have lunch and dinner on the
campus; cost will be approximately $4 per person. As details become
available an email will be sent. Also, Mike O'Neil is an Alumni
Association Member and can be contacted at manicmike3@cox,net
or 760-745-2612 if anyone has questions.
In addition to the
school reunion, a class event is planned for Saturday
afternoon/evening. In order to keep costs down, the event will be
held at a park in the area (no further than 25 miles away from the
school). The cost will be $25 per person which will include facility
fee, food, and all incidentals. Details regarding the park location
are pending confirmation as to number attending. Please send your
deposit of $15 per person by March 20th. The balance will be due the
day of the event. Please send your check to:

Notes
from Classmates
From
Greg Nainani:
Stephanie
will graduate from LLU School of Medicine this May and I will finish year
two of three at USC's Marshall School of Business. Rumor has it that
we will be going to bed early that evening.
Yes, there are kids in our lives. The best kind of kids--other
peoples' kids. (I told Steph no kids until we can at least keep our
plants alive!) This is the third year of our involvement with the
teen Sabbath School class at Victoria church and do they ever need you!
They need your contributions, ideas, and prayers to raise the funds for
our mission trip to China or Jamaica this Summer. Those who would
like to help us with the costs can mail their contributions to:
Victoria SDA Church
1860 Mountain View Avenue
Loma Linda, CA 92354
Write "Teen mission trip" in the memo and email me at nainani@usa.net
so I can keep track of our fund.
If any of you find yourself traveling through area, we'd love for you to
stay with us. I look forward to seeing everybody in April, and maybe
a few before.
From
Sara (Bates) Kendrick):
Hello
All,
Life in Florida is still just fine. We live in a great town/city,
Port Charlotte, on the West coast and on the outskirts of nearly
everything, so it's all accessible to us. We no longer have a
"guest" room, but Brian built on an addition of a
"playroom/ scrapbook studio" for the kids and me to hang out in
and it's got a fold out sofa....so...if you're up for a lumpy couch or air
bed give us a call to make your reservations!
Our sons Zachary and Jacob keep us very busy. Zack is now 4.5 years
old and Jaek, (yes.....E-K.. not K-E) just turned 2. Life is so much
easier when the child being "picked on" can TELL you what the
"pick-ie" has done... I guess we've still got too much
time on our hands, because we're adding a third, a girl this time, in
June. Just in time for the next update! Maybe we'll include a
picture of the brood next time.
I'm just working part time at my dental hygiene job. Right now I
only work one day a week, which is enough for me. I'd much rather be
home breaking up fights over Lego creations than scraping tartar off some
strangers teeth! I love my job, but much prefer motherhood to oral
hygiene instruction! I just miss my kids too much while I'm gone.
Hope all is well with all of you, drop us an e-mail if you want....our
addy is bskendrick@juno.com .
